Gloria TaylorPublished Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Gurdon TimesGloria Inez Horne Taylor, 65, of Gurdon, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born Sept. 17, 1942, in Prescott, the daughter of Luther and Thelma Fay Clem Horne. Gloria was a homemaker and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Oran Warry Taylor, who died Dec. 17, 2002. She is survived by one son, Oran L. Taylor and wife Vicki of Gurdon; one daughter, Warrie Jones of Decaturville, Tenn.; one brother, Billy Horne of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren, Hollie Stiffler of Jackson, Tenn., Garret Taylor, Aiden Morgan, both of Decaturville, Tenn. and Toby Taylor of Gurdon. The wake was held Friday, Feb. 8, from 6-8 p.m., at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 9, at 2 p.m., at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro.
