Sylvia JohnsonPublished Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneSylvia B. Johnson, 65, of Prescott, died Feb. 7, 2008, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope. She was born May 11, 1942, in Three Rivers, Mich., to Merley and Tressa Holm. She was Pentecostal and disabled. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Gerald Johnson; parents; sisters, Susan Holm; brothers, George and Walter Holm; and one grandchild, Cody Headley. Survivors include daughter, Katrina Headley of Prescott; sons, Jeff Neal of Mo., and Matt and Theo Buirley of Mich.; sister, Joy Leaf of Fla.; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. The memorial was held Sunday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. in the First Church of the Nazarene of Prescott. The services were under the direction of Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott.
