Eli Hill Sr.Published Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneEli Hill Sr., 86, of Prescott, died Jan. 22, 2008, at the Baptist hospital in Arkadelphia. He was born April 10, 1921 in Gurdon, to Braxton and Alberta Hill. He was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents. His survivors include his wife, Reeba; three daughters, Shirley Hill of Prescott, Sandra and Alfred Coleman of Augusta, Ga., and Terry and Vincent Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; four sons, Eli Hill Jr., Melvin and Rose Hill, Curtis and Darlene Hill of Cleveland, Ohio and Marvin Hill of Prescott; a host of in-laws, nieces and nephews; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. The funeral service was Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the New Beginning Church of God in Christ. The interment was in DeAnn Cemetery. Visitation was Monday, Jan. 28, at Pharr Funeral Home of Prescott.
