Dawn McLellandPublished Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneDawn Altha McLelland, 70, of Prescott, died Jan. 22, 2008, at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock. She was born Nov. 28, 1937 in Hiawatha, Kans. to Leon Shannon and Jessie Brockhoff. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Prescott and was self-employed. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leon Shannon Jr. and Jerry and Eldon Shannon. She is survived by her husband, John McLelland of Prescott; son, Tracy; and daughters, Jacque and Jane McLelland and Jennifer Henry. The funeral service was Friday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Prescott. Interment was in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, Jan. 24, at Pharr Funeral Home in Prescott from 6-8 p.m. Sign our online register at www.shackelfordfuneralhome.net.
