BoughtonMrs. Willie HooksPublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We are having beautiful weather. Trees are budding; shrubs are blooming. It's beginning to look a lot like spring. We enjoyed having Donna Ridling, Mary DeYoung, Bill Joe Wathall, Maybelle (Wathall) Brothers, Patricia, Olgia and Freddie Ingersoll, William Formby and Bennie Walthall visit us during the week. Our son, Willie Hugh, spent Monday with us, but we spent most of the day in Texarkana seeing doctors. Donald Kirkham brought us a delicious supper Monday night. Sammy House of Little Rock came after his parents, Lenard and Faye House Sunday. They spent the night then, then Lenard went to see an eye doctor at the veterans hospital Monday. Some of Mary Ann and J.D. Lucas' visitors during the week were Bill Joe Walthall, Maybelle (Walthall) Brothers, Maudina White, Margie Lucas and Roy and Syble Brown. Billy House, Chloe Orren's nephew and Freddie Garner visited her during the week. Darlene and Joe Mac Young, Bobby V. Breanna and Theresa and Courtney Jackson had supper with Cathryn and Pete Jester and Jimmy Joe one night during the week. Denise Stubbs of Little Rock visited the Jesters Sunday. Carolyn Cullin and Jackie Lucas visited their mother, Mozelle Gill, last week. Mozelle is having extra problems with one of her toes. Marie Loe visited her Aunt Annie Mae Hooks Thursday. They enjoyed Sonic hamburgers for lunch. Ronnie and Kathy Brown of Hope visited Roy and Syble Brown Sunday afternoon. Bussy Lee visited during the week.
