Bobby SmithPublished Wednesday, January 23, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneBobby Joe Smith, 76, of Cabot, formerly of Prescott, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital in Sherwood. He was born Jan. 21, 1931, in Rosston to Frank and Allie Mae Dixon Smith. He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a member of El Dorado Missionary Baptist Church in El Dorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; one half brother, Charles Ray McGraw, and one grandson, Tony Hudson. His survivors include one son, John David Smith of Cabot; two daughters, Brenda Faye Hudson of Calion and Jo Ann Zukowski of Mablevale; five grandchildren, Jonathan Hudson, Rodney Brown, Nicholas Brown, Ashley Smith and April Smith McDonald; and nine great-grandchildren. The grave side memorial service was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19, in Rosston Cemetery in Rosston, with the Rev. Don Goodwin officiating. The burial followed.
