BodcawAline ClausPublished Wednesday, March 3, 1999 in the Nevada County Picayune We are having such beautiful weather. We think spring is here. A few have started gardening. It has been some time since I did any gardening. I am always happy to have news and I have news from Corinth. Corinth Church is having a weekend revival March 4, 5, and 6 with Bro. Tal Webb doing the preaching. He is the pastor of Morris Baptist Church in Caney. Services start at 7:00 each evening. Dr. Perry Purtle will be the guest speaker at Corinth Sunday, March 7, in the morning service. Jonathan Russell of Laurel, Miss., and his fiancee, Mandy Sumrall, will arrive this weekend to spend a few days with Billy and Peggy Russell and other relatives while they are on spring break. Betty Harris is home after back surgery last week in a Little Rock hospital. Sorry to report the death of our pastor's mother-in-law, Mrs. Florence Helms of Malvern. Services were on Thursday and several from here attended. Attending from here were Jude and Lola Allen, Betty Carlton, Marie Tye, Russ and Marilyn Carlton, Ruth Baker, Earlene Butler and me. Remember this family and others with sickness or in the hospital. Mary Poindexter's mother is in a Magnolia hospital. Arlis Adams is still in a Texarkana hospital. Remember all of these. Ruby Vines was back in church after a bout with pneumonia. Maudie Miller and I made a trip to Old Washington to see the jonquils. It was a beautiful trip.
