Pageant NearingPublished Wednesday, September 22, 1999 in the Gurdon TimesThe 15th annual Forest Festival pageant will be held on Saturday, October 23, in the old high school auditorium. The pageant is open to all girls who reside in Clark County and who are between the ages of three and 18. There will be four age categories of competition: Tiny Miss for ages three through five; Little Miss, ages six through eight; Princess, ages nine through 12; and Queen, ages 13 through 18. Second runner-up, first runner-up and photogenic awards will be given in the Queen's category. Entry fee will be $30. Entry forms may be picked up at Billy's Main Street Florist in Kuhn's Sentry Hardware. Deadline for entry is Monday, October 12.
