Jesse CrousePublished Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in the Nevada County PicayuneJesse L. Crouse, 82, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, in a local nursing home. He was born on April 2, 1925, in Prescott. Mr. Crouse was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Red River Army Depot and a veteran of WWII U.S. Navy. Mr. Crouse is survived by his devoted wife of 59 years, Pauline McBride Crouse of Texarkana, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. The service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at East Memorial Chapel, Moores Lane with Rev. John Webb officiating. The burial was in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. The family received friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
