Joseph Tim Rhodes

Mr. Joseph T. Tim Rhodes, 62, of Hope, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at his home.

He was born on May 31, 1945, in Earle to Joe and Frankie Cloud Rhodes. He was a department manager with Firestone Rubber plant in Prescott. He was a Baptist and an Air Force Veteran during the Vietnam War serving in Okinawa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His survivors include his wife of 33 years, Donna Cockman Rhodes of Hope; two sons, Jeffery Todd Jeff Rhodes of Magnolia and Jason Talmadge Tal Rhodes of Hope; one daughter, Amy Sherie Rhodes of Little Rock; two sisters, Sandra Hicks of Little Rock and Mary Tatum of Fort Smith; and two grandchildren, Stoney Jett Rhodes of Magnolia and Payton Mackenzie Rhodes of Hope.

A memorial service was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel in Hope, with the Rev. David Porterfield officiating. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.

The family received friends on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
