Mary TroutPublished Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Mary L. Trout, 72, of Hope, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, in Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. She was born in Hope, on Aug. 7, 1935, to Henry and Agnes Gertrude Jordan Gaines. She was a gospel singer. She was a member of Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown. She was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Trout, who died March 31, 2000. Her survivors include one son, Billy Bo ORorke of Hope; two daughters, Susan Webber and Melanie Jennings, both of Hope; five grandchildren, Shannon Barnes and Brandi ORorke, both of Hope, Jason and David Jennings, both of Tyler, Texas, and Lance Jennings, of Hope. The grave side service was at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, with Rev. James Honeycutt officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. The family received friends on Thursday, Nov. 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
