Paul Potter

Paul E. Potter, 73, of Gurdon, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007.

Paul was a barber for 46 years, member of Beech Street Baptist Church, Veteran of Korean War and a member of the International Barbers and Beauticians Union.

He is survived by his wife, June Arnold Potter of Gurdon; three sons, Tommy (Stephanie) Potter of Gurdon, Ray ( Dee ) Potter of Bryant, and Rex (Tammy) of Cabot; brother, Ray Potter of Catheys Valley, Calif.; three sisters, Willene Weaver of Witts Springs, Drucilla Pauls of Fruita, Colo., Evelyn Shumaker of Ryderwood, Wash.; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by son, Paul, Jr.; grandson, Ryan and sister, Hollene Lewis.

The service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, in First Baptist Church in Gurdon with interment in South Fork Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home. An online guest book is at www.hornefuneralhome.net.
