Bernell JohnsonPublished Wednesday, November 28, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneBernell Johnson, 76, died on Nov. 24, 2007, in Camden. She was a member of the Bluff City Baptist Church. She was a woman of many talents and loved by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Johnson and parents, John Thomas and Lucille Knight Kirk. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Lindsey of Camden and Kathie Williams of Plano, Texas; one son, Ronnie Johnson of Hot Springs; two sisters, Doris Barlow of Bluff City and Margie Keith of Lockesburg; one brother, Wayne Kirk of Porter, Texas; seven grandchildren, Laura Slowinski, Kyle Johnson, Kelly Williams, Ty Johnson, Brett Williams, Colton Lindsey and Morgan Lindsey; two great-grandchildren, Alexia Johnson and Kaylee Slowinski; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family received friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 25. The funeral service was at 2 p.m., Nov. 26, at the Bluff City Baptist Church with Don Coons and Richard Merritt officiating. Interment was at Bluff City Cemetery.
