John Brzeski

John William Brzeski, died Nov. 18, 2007, was born Oct. 22, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Chester Martin Brzeski and Dora Mary Huskey Brzeski. He married Peggy Reed on April 23, 1994 in Sulphur Springs.

Mr. Brzeski was a retired heavy equipment operator, having been employed by Texas Utilities Mining Co. for more than 14 years. He joined the staff of Tapp Funeral Home and was a valued employee from 1994 to 2005. He was also a member of the National Guard and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by one son, DeWayne Brzeski of Josephine, Texas; six daughters, Valerie Mata, Mary Pennington, and Julie Brzeski, all of Sulphur Springs; Melissa Mason of Baton Rouge, La., Cindy Williams of Haughton, La., and Robin Roger of Rogers; brothers, Kenneth Brzeski and Bobby Brzeski, both of Prescott; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Brzeski was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Chester Martin Brzeski Jr. on March 20, 2004.

The funeral service was Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel, 216 Gilmer St., Sulphur Springs, Texas.
