Bobby HashPublished Wednesday, November 21, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Bobby W. Hash, 74, of Blevins, died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, in Medical Park Hospital in Hope. He was born in Troy, on July 17, 1933, to George and Myrtle Cosby Hash. He was the self-employed owner/operator of Blevins Texaco from 1971-1997. He was a Christian and a 32nd degree Mason. He was former mayor of Blevins and served as fire chief for many years for the Blevins Volunteer Fire Department. He was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters. Her survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carole Huskey Hash of Blevins; one son, Johnny Hash and Pam of Blevins; one brother, Melvin E. Hash of Canadian, Texas; two grandchildren, Patrick and Allen Hash, both of Blevins; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service was at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, with Rev. Jimmy Teeter officiating. The burial was in Sweet Home Cemetery in Blevins. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. The family received friends on Thursday, Nov. 15, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lou Gehrigs Disease, Columbia ALS Gift Fund, Columbia University Medical Center, Development Office, 100 Haven Ave., Suite 29 D, New York, New York 10032; or a charity of your choice.
