Ms. Eva Diane Marlar, 47, of Prescott, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, at Arkansas Childrens Burn Unit in Little Rock.She was born on Dec. 31, 1959, in South Carolina, to Donald D. and Eva Maddlean Glass Marlar. She was a retail associate. She was a member of Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her two brothers, Rick Marlar and Vicki of Prescott and Phillip L. Marlar of Caney; four nieces, Tonda Pennington of Prescott, Tamra Marlar of Magnolia, Wendi Ingersoll and Mendi Robertson, both of Hope; one nephew, Christopher Lige Marlar of Caney; and two great-nephews, Bryer and Brody Pennington, both of Prescott.

The funeral service was at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, at Park Missionary Baptist Church in Prescott, with the Revs. Terry Simons and Britt Dupree officiating. The burial was in Caney Cemetery in Caney. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.

The family received friends on Thursday, Nov. 8, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home in Prescott.
