John RobbinsPublished Wednesday, October 24, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneJohn Prentice Robbins, 91, of Hope, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in Arkadelphia at Baptist Medical Center. Mr. Robbins was a carpenter and a member of Shover Springs Baptist Church in Hope. He is survived by two sons, Bob Robbins of Gurdon and Billy Robbins of Bismarck; two daughters; Jan Danner of Cullman, Ala., and Melinda Osborn of Hope; a sister, Ruby Watters of Truman; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Prentice was preceded in death his wife, Syble, a son, Buddy and a grandson, Randy Robbins. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. in Easley Cemetery.
