A Gurdon man was arrested at Go-Devil Stadium on Friday, Oct. 5, while the game continued on the field.

According to Gurdon City Marshal Don Childres, police arrested Kentrell Green, 19, of 313 B Carrie St., after he refused a request by officers to leave the game.

Childres said Green had gone onto the field and into the Go-Devils huddle during the teams game with Bearden on Sept. 14. Green was reportedly told to leave the field by Head Coach John Pace on that night, and the school made a request through the Clark County Prosecuting Attorneys Office to ban Green from future events at GHS.

On Friday night, Childres said GHS Resource Officer Thomas Free saw Green enter the stadium through the main gate and told him to leave. Although Green left the stadium, he did not immediately leave the school premises. Childres said that when officers confronted Green a second time, he became disorderly and was arrested.

Green was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and was transported to the Clark County Jail where he later bonded out.

Green was arrested at a Gurdon football game in Bearden in 2006 when an altercation broke out on the field bringing the game to an end, according to police.
