The week of September 13-17, the Arkadelphia Senior Adult Center was guest of the Gurdon Center. We really enjoyed having them.

Monday we finished distributing commodities. Tuesday was Teddy bear day. I had to go to the doctor, so I missed all the fun.

Some of the senior adults really

had some fancy and pretty bears.

Some of the ladies went on a shopping trip to Hot Springs Mall on Wednesday. Thursday, Bro. Glen Shults, pastor of the New Caney Baptist Church, sang for us. Many of the seniors visited the fair in Arkadelphia.

Friday Tommy and Dorothy Hays and the square dancers performed.

We really appreciate Martha Bearden planning all the activities for us, as well as those from outside the center who take their time to volunteer activities for the enjoyment of the senior adults.

Friday evening Nadine Logan and I sat at the United Way booth at the fair from 6 to 8 p.m. The Arkadelphia ladies sat from 8 to 10.

The monthly council meeting was Monday, September 20.

The Gurdon and Arkadelphia centers are a program of the Central Arkansas Development Council and a United Way agency.
