Darlene PerryPublished Wednesday, September 12, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneDarlene Hickey Perry, 43, of Shreveport, La., died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007. She was born Nov. 15, 1963, in Prescott. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Alfred Hickey; and her mother, Bobbie Jean Wicker Butcher. She is survived by her two sons, Christopher and Alex Perry of Shreveport, La.; a sister, Victoria Bartel and husband James of Old Hickory, Tenn.; two brothers, Bobby Hickey of Emmet and Jamie Butcher of Shreveport, La.; her stepfather, Jim Butcher of Shreveport, La.; her sister-in-law, Brenda Hickey of Emmet; three nieces, Alissa Hickey, Cheyenne Butcher, and Tabitha Marion; six nephews, Joseph, Justin, Nicholas and Tanner Hickey, and Ashton and Damien Bartel; and many more friends and family. Darlenes boys were her life. She was very active in support groups for Downs Dyndrome. She was a computer graphic designer.
