Casey AllenPublished Wednesday, August 8, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Casey Conrad Allen, 20, of Prescott, formerly of Hope, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007, in Christus St. Michael Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. He was born July 9, 1987, in Hope, to Steven Conrad and Pamala Michelle Banks Allen. He was self-employed. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church of Hope. He was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Jan Allen, and his maternal grandfather, Arthur Lee Banks. His survivors include his father, Steven Conrad Allen of Hope; his mother, Pamala Michelle Banks Allen of Hope; three sisters, Brittney Michelle Banks-Allen and Stevie Caitlin Allen, both of Hope, and Samantha Patterson of Prescott; paternal grandfather, Ray Allen of Sheridan; maternal grandmother, Vada Banks of Hope; and paternal great-grandmother, Helen Jordan of Prescott; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pall bearers were Jason Banks, Joshua Banks, Chase Banks, Landon Loe, Jordan Banks and William Wheelington. The funeral service was at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, at Unity Baptist Church in Hope, with Revs. I. V. Hight, Glen Troop and Mrs. Teresa Simmering officiating. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. The family received friends Friday, Aug. 3, from 5-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
