Oak Grove Civic League meets every first Tuesday in the month. We met Tuesday night, March 2. The following members present were Herbert Coleman, Henry Gulley, Leo Holleman, Lula Q. Kendrick, E.C. William, Ardell Johnson, Irine Tidwell and Alvin Tidwell. The new roof is on the gym and it really looks good round there. Alvine Tidwell and wife have a carpet shop. Alvin is the son of Bracy Tidwell. They moved away when they were young. A fun park is in the making here at Oak Grove. We cold have had the park long ago. Gloria Jean is out of the hospital. We miss Ira Harris and his wife, and Clyde Toney. On April 8, Sis. Margie Dansby will render a musical program at the Day Care Center at Oak Grove at 6 p.m. Missionary Tessie B.
