Ruby Hasley

Ruby Woodard Hasley, 80, of Prescott, died July 22, 2007, in Hope.

She was retired from 12 years of service at Prescott Elementary School. She was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Hope, to Mark and Ocie Vinson Woodard. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Prescott.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Edward Hasley Jr., and her parents.

Her survivors include four children, Doug Hasley of Texarkana, Jacy Levinsky of Little Rock, Woody and Joy Hasley of DeSoto, Kan., Tom and Frankie Hasley of Texarkana; one brother, Martin Woodard of McNeil; one sister, Frances Payne of Shreveport, La.; seven grandchildren, Amy Pope, Andy Levinsky, Brandon Garcia, Carmen Carrillo, Christopher Camboulive, Angelique Camboulive, and Aaron Camboulive; four great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Grave side services were held Tuesday, July 24, at 10 a.m., at First Baptist Church in Prescott with Revs. Frank Henson and Ed Clabybrook officiating. Interment was at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.

Visitation was held Monday, July 23, at Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott, from 6-8 p.m.
