Four charged in drug operation

Four bench warrants were issued on July 11 for four separate drug-related crimes.

Demarione Muldrow, 19, 507 E. Fifth St., Emmet; Charmaine Barzar, 32, 431 W. Elm St.; and Antonio Flemons, 31, 641 E. Second St., have each been charged with various counts of manufacture and delivery of controlled substances. Information from the Prescott Police Department Nevada County Sheriffs Office, Arkansas State Police and South Central Drug Task Force lists the discovery, manufacturing and sell of illegal substances from the defendants residences.

Muldrow was charged with selling 7.6 grams of marijuana, while Barzar was charged with delivering a controlled substance (cocaine) and maintaining a drug premise on two different occasions in December 2006. Barzar has been charged with selling 0.27 grams of cocaine on the first occasion, and 0.22 grams on the second.

Flemons is also charged with delivery of a controlled substance and maintaining a drug premesis, but is charged as a habitual criminal offender. This charge applies to people who have been convicted of more than four felony offenses and adds ten years to the sentence.

Also charged with delivering a controlled substance is Terry Wallace Woodley Jr., 26, 365 W. Elm St. Woodley was charged with delivering .24 grams of cocaine in October of 2006. Woodleys bench warrant was issued July 11 as well.

Officer David Rider of the Arkansas State Police filed the reports used in the criminal charges. According to Riders affidavits, all the charges stem from the use of cooperating individuals to make drug purchases.
