Thomas Lane

Thomas Edward Lane, 65, of Fayetteville, formerly of Gurdon, died Thursday, July 5, 2007, at Fayetteville.

He was born May 13, 1942, in Nevada County, the son of the late Dwight Hugh and Jessie Lois Baker Lane.

He had spent some years in the construction business, was a member of the Assembly of God Church, and had a life long love of music. He was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Thomas Lane.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Rush Lane; two sons, Timothy Lane of Gurdon, and Michael Lane of Fayetteville; a daughter, Tina Bosley of Curtis; four brothers, Paul Lane of Delight, Olan, Joe and Benny Lane, all of Blevins; four sisters, Cathy Stuart of Texarkana, Texas, Mary Wicker of Curtis, Doris Rhodes of Blevins, and Ruth Adams of Amity; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was Monday, July 9, from noon-1 p.m. at Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Grave side services were on Monday, July 9, at 2 p.m. at Hart Cemetery, with Pastor Nathan Rogers officiating. Pallbearers are Michael, Timothy, Bradley and Corey Lane, Stephen Pennington and Jay Taylor.
