Rape charge filed against Emmet manBy Wendy LedbetterPublished Wednesday, July 11, 2007 in the Nevada County Picayune An Emmet man has been charged in the rape of a child. According to records on file at the Nevada County Sheriffs Office, Michael E. Lambert, 17, 284 Nevada 272, Emmet, was formally charged with the crime on July 2. A bench warrant was also issued for Lamberts arrest. The majority of the details of the crime have been sealed by Circuit Judge Randy Wright. Wrights mandate states, in part: This court, having considered all facts and law, hereby orders and adjudges that the ... alleged offenses shall be sealed to protect the alleged minor victim.
