Thomas GarnerPublished Wednesday, July 4, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneThomas Cary Garner, 76, of Prescott, formerly of Channelview, Texas, died Wednesday, June 27, 2007. He was a retired Instrument Technician of Armco Steel, a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church of Channelview. Mr. Garner was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Garner. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Ann Garner and fianci Jeff Shipley of Tomball, Texas; one son, Thomas Anthony Tony Garner of Austin, Texas; four granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives. Visitation was Sunday, July 1, from 3-6 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home 13701 Corpus Christi Street Houston, Texas A grave side service was Monday, July 2, at 10 a.m. in San Jacinto Memorial Park.
