Russell Henry

Russell Cline Henry, 38, of Haughton, La., died June 13, 2007, in Haughton.

He was born Nov. 24, 1968, in Prescott. He attended school at Meadowview Elementary, Schreve Christian and graduated from Airline High School in 1986. He attended LSUS where he majored in business. He was a member of Airline Church of Christ for 28 years. He liked working on computers and repairing them for friends. He was always willing to help others with their computer problems and always loved to help others. He had a love for animals and took in all strays he could find.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dawson Cline Sr. and wife Edith McGuire Henry and Leo Jackson and wife Pauline.

He is survived by his parents Dawson Cline Jr. and wife Lynda Sue Henry of Prescott; four aunts, Diane Lambert and husband Tony, Carolyn Stovall, Kay Chambless and husband Jerry, and Vicki Smith; numerous cousins and a host of friends who dearly loved his smile and funny wit. He will be remembered by his special friends, Doris, Paulah and husband Barry and his special cat Roo, who he rescued.

The funeral service was held on Saturday, June 16, at 1 p.m. in the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel in Haughton with John Billingsley officiating.

Interment was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Prescott.

The family received friends on Friday, June 15, from 5-9 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.

Pall bearers were David Stovall, Tony Lambert, Barry Walsh, Sal Fayad, Randy Farris and Kevin McLaine.
