Katherine C. Daniels

GURDON -Katherine Maurece Carter Daniels, 80, of Gurdon died June

17, 2007,

at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born Sept. 21, 1926,

in

Hollywood, the daughter of the late Joe and Mary Elizabeth Thompson

Carter.

She was a retired employee of Firestone Rubber Co. in Prescott and was

a

member of First Presbyterian Church of Gurdon. She was preceded in

death by

her husband, Woodrow Daniels.

Survivors include: One daughter, Betty Lou Thomas of Gurdon; one son,

Burt

Wilson Daniels of Gurdon; eight grandchildren and 13

great-grandchildren;

and one sister, Louise Kinnaird of West Texas.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home in

Arkadelphia

with Rev. Greg Lathem officiating. Burial will be in Carter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jason Coins, Todd Forthman, Trevor Forthman, Jeff

Williams, Steven Sheets, Michael Daniels and Josh Daniels

Family hours are 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
