NEVADA 4 The Wolves got on the winning track in game two of the season with a 9-4 victory over cross-county rival Nevada.

Sophomore Josh Bullock got the win in his first start ever for Prescott. Bullock went the distance giving up the four runs on six hits, four walks while fanning eight.

The Wolves, on the other hand, sent three deep as Haynes connected for his second of the season, and Gabe Morman and Ralph Marlow both homered.

Prescott unloaded on the Blue Jays in the bottom of the first for four runs.

The attack began with Ronnie Nolen walking and scoring on a wild pitch. Young drove in Yates, who had walked, with an RBI single, while Hayne's long ball brought Young across.

The Jays cut the lead to 4-2 in the top of the fourth off a single, triple and error. Bullock settled down and struck the next three out.

In the bottom of the inning, the Wolves padded their lead by two with Morman's homer driving Young in.

But the Jays wouldn't go away and scored two more in the top of the fifth.

Nevada scored on a round-tripper by Julius Gulley and a sacrifice fly.

Again in the bottom of the frame, the Wolves packed on the runs, this time with two more.

With two down and the bases loaded, Young singles driving in Evan Webb and Brad Harris. The bases were loaded when Yates was intentionally walked.

The Wolves added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth with a solo shot by Marlow with two down.

The Wolves outhit Nevada 7-6.

The Jays, though, took the jv game 6-1.

Prescott's lone score came when Brady Jordan hit an RBI grounder to bring Ben Ratcliff in.
