Lindell Johnson

Mr. Lindell Wayne Johnson, 63, of Rosston, died Saturday, June 2, 2007, at his home.

He was born in Malvern on August 17, 1943, to Veiland and Mary Ruth Livingston Johnson. He was retired from the U.S. Army Reserves and the Navy with 36 years of services and a former policeman in Fort Worth, Texas. He was a Baptist, a member of the Army Officers Club and the U.S. Submarines Veterans Club-Razorback Base Group.

He was preceded in death by his father, Veiland Johnson.

His survivors include one son, Thomas Johnson of Burleson, Texas; two daughters, Susan Gallander of Midlothian, Texas and Julie Johnson of Hurst, Texas; his mother, Mary Johnson of Rosston; two brothers, Ronald Johnson of HOPe and Roy Johnson of Azle, Texas; one sister, Karen Jacob of Perrytown; four grandchildren, Scott Johnson of Hurst, Texas, Ryan Gallander of Milothian, Texas, Brandon Glass of Burleson, Texas, ansd Ashley OFlaherty of Haslet, Texas; and three great-grandchildren, Kyla, Alexia and Mason.

A grave side memorial service was at 2 p.m., Monday, June 11, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, with Chaplain Major James W. Blount officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Prescott.
