Dorothy FultonPublished Wednesday, May 30, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Dorothy Marie ORorke Fulton, 79, of Hope, died Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, Texas. She was born on Nov. 15, 1927, in Hope, to Frank and Myrtle Powell ORorke. She was a school bus driver and employed with in-home healthcare. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church of McCaskill. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Dona Gail Fulton; one brother, Joe ORorke; and one sister, Juanita Gaines. Her survivors include one daughter, Sherry Fulton of Hope; two brothers, David ORorke of Hope and Bill ORorke of Henderson, Texas; five sisters, Bobby Goza of Mt. Holly, Beatrice Williams of Texarkana, Texas, Alice Conley and Mildred Ward, both of Hope, and Dewanna Yocom of Emmet; three grandchildren, Rory Allen of Nashville, Sean Allen of Huntsville, and Candy Cassin of Spring Hill; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral services were at 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home Chapel of Hope with the Rev. Verlin Buddy Coleman officiating. Burial was in Friendship Cemetery in McCaskill. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope. The family received friends Monday, May 21, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
