Scott TiptonPublished Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMr. Scott Tipton, 35, of DeQueen, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, in DeQueen Medical Center in DeQueen. He was born on Oct. 25, 1971, in Stuttgart, to Joe Ronnie and Margaret Joyce Capps Tipton. He was a Tyson Service Technician. He was a Baptist and an Army veteran. His survivors include his wife, Rebecca Hicks Tipton of DeQueen; two sons, Jace Nelson Tipton and Trey Lane Tipton, both of DeQueen; his parents, Joe Ronnie and Margaret Joyce Tipton of Star City; one brother, Steven Wade Tipton of Hope; one sister, Rebecca Lynn Tipton Rowe of Star City; maternal grandfather, Haschel Capps of Star City; one niece, Madison of Star City; and three nephews, Cade, Coby and Clay of Bodcaw. Grave side services were at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 17, at Union Cemetery in Bodcaw, with the Rev. Bob Mayfield officiating. Burial followed. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope. The family received friends Wednesday, May 16, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
