Mattie GlennPublished Wednesday, May 9, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Mattie Toliver Glenn, 91, of Prescott, died Wednesday, May 2, 2007, in Prescott Manor Nursing Center in Prescott. She was born on January 11, 1916, in Hempstead County, to Ike and Emma Henagan Toliver. She was a homemaker and cook from the former Nevada County Hospital in Prescott. She was a member of Munns Chapel Baptist Church in Prescott and a choir member. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wade Glenn, who died Dec. 6, 1993,; and by one brother, Lewis Toliver. Her survivors include a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 9, at Munns Chapel Baptist Church in Prescott, with Dr. Cledis D. Stuart officiating. Burial will be in DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott.
