Lynette Schoonover

Lynette Patterson Schoonover joined her Lord and Savior on March 23, 2007.

She was born Oct. 13, 1959, in Houston, Texas, and attended Gurdon High School. After marriage, she was a nurse for more than 20 years in the Houston area. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing in April, 2006. At the time of her death, Lynette was a nurse manager at East Houston Regional Medical Center in Houston.

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Read Patterson and mother, Carol Taylor.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, James Schoonover, of Dayton, Texas; one daughter Heather Ferrell and husband, Keith, of Colby, Kan.; one son Mark Schoonover of Liberty, Texas; granddaughters Haeley and Karah Ferrell of Colby, Kan.; her stepmother, Beth Patterson of Fulton; two sisters Susan Purifoy of Arkadelphia and Margaret Patterson of Gurdon; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home chapel in Dayton, Texas, with Rev. Keith Ferrell officiating. Interment was in Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.
