Omerlee Lee Guidry

Omerlee Lee Guidry, 53, of Emmet, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, in Memphis, Tenn.

He was born Jan. 2, 1954, in New Orleans, La. He was a pipeliner/operator with Duke Energy, a member of the A.B.A.T.E. and a 32nd degree Mason.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Guidry of Bodcaw; son, Bryan Guidry of Bodcaw; step-son, Jason Hanson of Orlando, Fla.; step-daughter, Susan Hanson; two brothers, Danny Guidry of Hope and Phillip Guidry of Ala.; sister and brother-in-law, Tim and Leslie Vines; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a special friends, Jerry and Mechelle Fielding.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Brazel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, with Rev. Ed Phillips officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery on County Road 126 Nevada 5, under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.

Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
