Lane, of Prescott, died Saturday, March 24, 2007, in Patterson Healthcare Nursing Home in Morgan City, La. The was born in Prescott, to James R. and Genevieve Ward Bush. She was a retired executive secretary for more than 30 years with McDermott Shipyards. She was a Presbyterian. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, E. Henry Lane, who died in 1976. Her survivors include one son, Mark Lane and Judy of Morgan City, La., and one daughter, Melody Lane of Houston, Texas. Grave side services were at 11 a.m., Monday, March 26, at the DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, with the Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Burial followed.
