Cora BollsPublished Wednesday, March 28, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneCora Starnes Bolls, 93, died March 20, 2007, at Westward Trails Manor in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born in 1913 to George and Lydia Starnes. She married Roy Bolls in Bradford, Texas. She was employed as secretary at Ashbel Smith Elementary School. The family were members of the Pruitt and Lobit Church of Christ. Upon her husbands retirement from Exxon, 1971, the family moved to Arkansas. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Herrold of Centennial, Colo.; a son, Jerry Bolls of Nacogdoches, Texas; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Bluff City Church of Christ in Bluff City, at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, with burial in the Bluff City Cemetery. Laird Funeral Home of Nacogdoches, Texas, is in charge of arrangements. Local arrangements are by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home of Hope.
