Imogene Watson

Mrs. Imogene Lester Watson, 87, of Prescott, died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Medical Park Hospital in Hope.

She was born on October 26, 1919, in Teague, Texas, to William Henry and Irene Hamilton. She was a homemaker. She was Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Samuel Lester; her second husband, Lemuel T. Watson; two daughters, Vickie Lester and Margie Lester; and six brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Graham and Larry of Prescott and Melba Liggan and Dan of New Hope; one sister, Velma Gibbins and Carl of Lufkin, Texas; seven grandchildren, Debra Payne and Floyd and Paula Tedder and Leon, all of Prescott, Becky and Sammy Turner of New Hope, Susan Cline and Donnie of Indianapolis, Ind., David Barnett of Dickerson, Texas, and Mark Barnett of Denton, Texas; twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 15, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home Chapel in Prescott, with the Rev. Danny Edgar officiating. Burial was in Liberty Cemetery in Redland Community in Prescott.

Family received friends Wednesday, March 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home.

Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.
