Frank Ingram

Frank Ingram, 95, of Prescott, died Feb. 27, 2007, in Hillcrest Care and Rehab.

He was born May 6, 1911, in Bluff City, to the late Acie Ingram and the late Lula Gulley Ingram. He was the second of six children born to this union. He was a member of St. John Baptist Church. He was a faithful member until his health failed. He was a sawmill worker, and worked on the railroad until he retired.

Mr. Ingram was united in holy matrimony to Leeunice Marsh, who preceded him in death. To this union six children were born. He was later married to Estelle Johnson, who also preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents and three sons, Ellis Ingram, Gurthie Lee Ingram and Jerry C. Ingram.

He leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife, Ruth Ingram of Prescott; one son, Darris and Opal Jean Ingram; two daughters, Lois and Aron Gulley and Louise and Malvin Henry of Rosston; ten step-children; thirty-six grandchildren; ninety-four great-grandchildren; nineteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were Saturday, March 3, at 10 a.m. at the St. John Baptist Church in Bluff City, with the Rev. James Fred Williams officiating. Interment was in New Salem Cemetery in Rosston.

Services under the direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps.
