Sharon WhitePublished Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Beverly Sharon Nanny White, 62, lifelong resident of Hope, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana, Texas. She was born Jan. 23, 1945, in Lake View, Ore., to Howard P. Tippitt Sr. and Mae Louise Johnson Tippitt. She was a retired nurse. She loved life and everyone loved her. Hunting, fishing, gardening and her family were her life. She was a good Christian woman who is present with the Lord right now. She was very loving and especially proud of her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother; her special grandmomma, Cora Lee Johnson, and brother, Jerry Clyde Pardue. Her survivors include her faithful and loving husband of 31 years, Charles Ricky White of Hope; two sons, Chad Cornelius of Little Rock and Shane White and Tammy of Hope; two daughters, Tambra Childres and Don of Gurdon and Leslie Cornelius of Miami, Fla.; her daddy, Pete Tippitt Sr. and Mary Del of Hope; one brother, Howard Tippitt Jr. of Hope; three sisters, Penny Griffis and Vicki Shegonee, both of Hope, and Terri Miller of S.C.; seven grandchildren, Hunter Dale Johnson, Toby and Tyler Childres, all of Gurdon, Beverly Brooke and Brant Cornelius and Dillon Ray and Mackenzie Shay White, all of Hope; one great-grandchild, Blaise Childres of Gurdon; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 6, with the Revs. Jim Farris and Jay Pollan officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope. Family received friends, Monday, March 5, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 520, Hope, AR 71802.
