Hester NewberryPublished Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in the Gurdon TimesHester Z. Newberry, 94, died Saturday, February 17, 2007, in the Golden Care Nursing Home in Arkadelphia. Mrs. Newberry was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B. Newberry and son, Orville Newberry. She is survived by daughter, Evelyn Glover of Gurdon; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and four great, great- grandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday, February 20, in Horne Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in Easley Cemetery by Horne Funeral Home of Gurdon.
