Muriel OSteenPublished Wednesday, February 21, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneMrs. Muriel D. OSteen, 80, of Prescott, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2007, in Heather Manor Nursing and Rehab in Hope. She was born on Feb. 20, 1926, in Hempstead County, to Buck and Hythren Clark Green. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene OSteen, who died in 1979; and by five brothers, Leroy, Herbert, Norman, Hollis and Orville Green. Survivors include one son, Tommy OSteen and Cheryl of Allen, Texas; one daughter, Barbara Lowdermilk and Ronnie of Prescott; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Graveside services were at 1 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at East Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Texarkana, with the Rev. Neal Ridling officiating. Burial followed. Family received friends Wednesday, Feb. 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Brazzle/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope.
