Mildred Stallsworth

Mildred R. Stallsworth, 88, of Prescott, died Friday in a local hospital.

She was born in Kanona, Kan., on July 12, 1917, to Jerry and Bessie Beneda. Mildred was a housewife, loving wife and a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her husband David and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Skaggs of Emmet; three sons, David Stallsworth of Athens, John Stallsworth of Blevins and Mark Stallsworth of Longview, Texas; and

one brother, Val Beneda of Oberlin, Kan.; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Feb. 9 at 2 p.m. at Marlbrook Cemetery under the direction of Shackelford Funeral Home in Prescott. The online guest book is available at www.shackelfordfuneralhome.net.
