John Marsh

Mr. John D. Marsh, 61, of Prescott, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, at Christus St. Michael System in Texarkana, Texas.

He was born on May 18, 1945, in Coral Gales, Fla., the only child of Darrell and Geneva Marsh. His grandparents were John C. and Jarvie Aburrow Marsh and Ep and C. Weaver. He attended Subiaco Academy and Henderson State University.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His survivors include one son, Daniel A. Marsh of Arkadelphia; one granddaughter, Jodi Marsh of Friendship; one cousin, Amelia Harrell Fraser of Miami, Fla.; and one aunt, Molly Graff of Georgetown, Texas.

A private graveside service was at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at DeAnn Cemetery in Prescott, with the Rev. Jerry G. Westmoreland officiating. Arrangements were by Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home of Prescott.

The family wishes to acknowledge and express their gratitude to his special and devoted friends, Dick and Joyce Bright and Gaye Clark.
