Terry WickerPublished Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneTerry Dale Wicker, 56, of Gurdon, died Feb. 4, 2007, in Arkadelphia. He was a truck driver. He was born May 12, 1950, in Prescott. He was the son of Shelton Thomas and Irene Smith Wicker. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Edward Lee Wicker; and his wife, Mary Lane Wicker of Gurdon. Survivors include three daughters, Tammy and husband Tony Melugin of Bismarck, Terri and husband Justin Lee of Arkadelphia, and Debbie and husband John Jester of Emmet; two brothers, Gilbert Wicker of Emmet and Bobby Dale Wicker of Texarkana; five sisters, Edna Mae Tunnell of Magnolia, Texas, Martha Faye Parmer of Bluff City, Betty Sue McKamie of Hope, his twin, Sherry Zumwalt of Lawton, Okla., and Sharon Baby Dycus of Glenwood; eight grandchildren, Brooke, Britney, and Brandie Lewallen, Zac Melugin, Timmy Pullen, Haley Lee, Jennifer Miller and Jordan Jester; and a host of other family and friends. Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 2 p.m. at the Providence Memorial Baptist Church in Perrytown with Mike Steed and Oliver McKamie officiating. Interment was at Snell Cemetery in Emmet. Service were under the direction of Herndon Funeral Home of Hope. Visitation was held Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Herndon Funeral Home.
