Ether Vance Reeves, 67, of Gurdon, died Tuesday, January 23, 2007.

He was a farmer and attended Sycamore Church.

Survivors include his wife, Opal Reeves of Gurdon; son, Sidney Reeves of Gurdon; three daughters, Monica Lyon and husband Jim of Atoka, Okla., Debbie Davies and husband Don of Gurdon, and Vicki Gills of Rogers; three brothers, Vester Reeves of Truman, Ollie Reeves of Harrisburg, and Joe Reeves of Truman; three sisters, Cathryn Jones of Newark, Nellie Sue Jones of Harrisburg, and Carolyn Oswalt of Lawrenceburg, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Lori Conrad, Heather Bruce, Lauren Gills, Kayla Orr, Krissi Davies, Rachel Reeves, Monica Ann Reeves, and Maria Reeves; two great-grandchildren, Samantha Gills and Morgan Conrad.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at the Horne Chapel with Bro. James McCain officiating.
