Billy Northcutt

Billy Eugene Northcutt, 73, of Blytheville died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at the Great River Medical Center.

Born Jan. 27, 1933, in Blytheville, the son of Coy and Willie Connell Northcutt, he was a lifelong Blytheville resident and of the Baptist faith. He was a retired supply manager for Eaker Air Force Base and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the American Legion and loved playing cards, fishing and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Orville, Hubert and E.J. Northcutt.

He leaves his wife, Mary Alexander Northcutt of the home; his children and their spouses, Brenda and Larry Davidson of Blytheville, Deborah and Steve Brown of Blytheville, Kathy Waldrop of Plattsmouth, Neb., Tammy and Eddie White of Arkadelphia, Keith and Marguerite Haynes of Jacksonville and Beth and Dennis Barron of Gobbler, Mo.; three sisters, Geneva Caldwell of Gurdon, Betty Grant of Jonesboro and Lillie Mae Fleenor of Piney Flatts, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was Sunday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel in Blytheville with Rev. Gary Hyde and Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Burial followed in Elmwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, Ga. 30329.
