Louise PurtlePublished Wednesday, January 3, 2007 in the Nevada County PicayuneLouise Purtle, 87, of Bradley, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at the Medical Park Hospital in Hope. Mrs. Purtle was a member of the Union Baptist Church, a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Purtle. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ted L. and Joyce Purtle of Roundrock, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Larry Colvin of Walkers Creek; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2006, at the Union Baptist Church at Bodcaw with Rev. Lynn Green and Rev. Joe Brown officiating. Burial was in the Union Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps. Visitation was from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2006 at Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
