James Bell

James "Jamie" Bell, 45, of Gurdon died Dec. 16, 2006. He was born

Sept. 20, 1961, son of James and Quarlee Turner Bell. He was a construction

worker and a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church of Gurdon. He was preceded

in death by his father.

Survivors include: His wife, Kathy Bell; two children, Kaneisha Bell and

Dariaus Bell of Austin, Texas; his mother, Quarlee Turner; three brothers,

Thomas Ollison and Robert Turner of Gurdon and Doyle Turner of Aurora,

Colo.; three sisters, Pamela Williams of Raleigh, N.C., and Delois Bell and

Sharon Lasker of Gurdon.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with Rev.

Johnny Harris officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery under the

direction of Williams Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Demond Beasley, Dariaus Bell, O9Brian Bell, Chauncy

Charles, Roy Pollins, Thomas Ollison, Robert Turner, Doyle Turner, Carlton

Ollison, Anthony Pollins and Hershell Williams.

Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
